About Me....
I really don't enjoy talking about myself, but I am always happy to talk about my coaching style! I am an empath and a very intuitive person. I believe in 'truth with compassion". What does that mean to the writers I work with? It means that I am committed to helping writers bring their best stories into the world and to teach them to market those stories. I can't do that unless I am truthful about what I see and read. A writer is not well served by a coach who only tells them what they want to hear and not what is the truth. A good coach will always strive to help you improve your work. Maybe it will make more sense if you hear what one of my clients says about me.
“Becky has been a critical partner as I continue to revise my novel. She reviewed my draft and helped me see where my story wasn’t working. She organized her feedback so that I knew the priorities I needed to address and where I could make the biggest improvements. It’s often difficult to see the flaws in our own work when we’ve toiled over every chapter, scene, and sentence.
Becky was empathetic as she delivered her feedback, and I really felt she understood the challenges we all face in getting the right words on the page. I know that she’s genuinely invested in my success.” Jackie Alcalde-Marr, Author "Olives, Sugar, Cherries"
Nothing makes me happier than to witness a writer who is confident about their work and feeling proud of what they have created.

A little of my personal story - I have been married for 32 years and we have one amazing son who is in engineering school. We have two spoiled rotten, rescues named Beau (the beagle) and Lucy (Heinze 57) who are usually sleeping under my feet when I am working.
